What we do
Four things, done properly. Websites designed to the brand and built on a CMS, with SEO and forms that actually work. Workflow systems — production, quality, invoicing, portals — engineered from a written plan so the business stops running on spreadsheets and memory. Launch readiness audits for founders who shipped fast with AI tools and want to know it's safe. And Google Ads, set up and tuned every month, reported in one readable page.
How we work
Every project starts with a free call and ends with us staying on. In between: a fixed price agreed before we begin, paid in thirds; weekly working demos on a test link; a handover so your team can run it without us; and three months of care included. We take on a few clients at a time, so a start date from us is a date we keep.
Where the studio comes from
Serendib Studios started inside a family business that ran on Google Drive and spreadsheets — good clients, good work, nothing connected. We built the production platform, the QC checker, the finance system and the website that gave it order, and they're still running. The studio exists to do that for other businesses, and to do it with the finish of a product company rather than the patience of an IT department.
Why "Serendib"
Serendib is the old name for Sri Lanka, where the studio began. The word serendipity comes from it: finding something valuable you weren't looking for. Most of our clients came for a website and left with a business that runs better. We took the name because that's the job.

A beautiful site that doesn't bring enquiries is decoration; a system nobody enjoys using gets abandoned. We design and engineer with the same care.

A web app runs on every phone in the business without an app store. We build mobile apps when someone on the floor actually needs one.

You know the number before we start. If it takes us longer, that's our problem, not your invoice.

So we stay on. Three months free after every build, then a monthly tier, until you tell us to stop.
Who you'll be talking to.
The studio is led by Dilshan Jayasinghe, a software engineer who grew up around the business in the story above and built the systems that changed it. He has led development teams delivering platforms for government agencies and a national tourism body, built and shipped mobile apps to both app stores, and serves as acting CTO of a sports-technology startup.
He'll be on your discovery call, he'll write your Blueprint, and he'll be the person answering on WhatsApp when something breaks.
