What we collect, and why.

Forms
When you fill in a form on this site — to tell us what you need, to book a call, or to get the checklist — we receive what you typed: your name, business name, email, WhatsApp number and anything you wrote in the free-text fields. We use it to reply to you and, if you become a client, to run the work. It's stored in our email and in a private spreadsheet we use as a client list. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone outside the studio, except the services that deliver it to us (below).
The checklist email list
If you request the free checklist, your email goes on a list that receives exactly what the page says: the checklist, one follow-up about a month later, and occasionally a note about the audit. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list the same day.
If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation lives in WhatsApp and is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We keep those chats for as long as we're working together or the enquiry is open.
Analytics
We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool that counts page views and which buttons get clicked, without cookies and without tracking you across other sites. It doesn't identify you personally. That's why there's no cookie banner.
Services that handle your data on our behalf

Each of these processes only what it needs to do its job, under its own terms.
Your rights
Ask us what we hold about you and we'll tell you. Ask us to correct it or delete it and we will, unless we're legally required to keep it (for example, invoices). Email hello@serendib-studios.com and you'll hear back within a few working days.
Client work
When we build or maintain something for you, we may have access to your business data and your customers' data. We treat it as confidential, use it only to do the work, and hand it back or delete it when we stop working together. Anything shown on this site as a case study has client data blurred and is shown with the client's permission.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, if you're on our email list, tell you.
